Newborn Home Visits The North Shore Health Department provides newborn and family home visits by our Maternal/Family and Child Health staff. During this visit we can provide lactation counseling and/or discuss topics such as home safety, immunizations, nutrition, and healthy growth and development. Home visits provide a great chance for new parents/family to ask questions and discuss newborn health and development.
