North Shore Health Department Clinics

The North Shore Health Department is not able to provide vaccines to children whose insurance covers immunizations (Does not apply to flu vaccines).

The Wisconsin Immunization Program initiated this policy change on October 1, 2012. Children with health insurance should visit their primary health care provider for their immunizations, even if the insurance includes a high deductible or co-pay, or the deductible has not been met.  The only exception to this policy change is the pertussis-containing vaccine (Tdap).  Parents need to plan ahead to ensure their children are fully vaccinated prior to entering school. If you have questions regarding immunizations, please call us at 414-371-2980.

If you would like to schedule an appointment for an immunization, click here to submit an e-appointment request.
*Certain vaccines may not be available at both North Shore Health Department locations (Brown Deer and Shorewood offices).
