Green Day in the Bay

Green Day is moving and expanding! Celebrate the 12th annual Green Day in the Bay.
May 4th, 2019 plan to spend the morning and afternoon at Klode Park. Bay Day events start at 8 AM and will conclude at 1 PM. Bay Day encompasses Run the Bay, Green Day in the Bay, and Recycle Day in the Bay, and new this year, Voice of the Bay!

Shorewood First Ride and Bike Rodeo

Saturday May 4th 2019 
12:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Atwater Elementary School West Playground
First ride is at 12:00pm -1:30pm (Course# 3715.1)
Bike Rodeo is at 2:00pm-3:30pm (Course# 3716.1)

Two bike events on the same afternoon! Join us for a fun day of bicycle education. Brought to you by the Shorewood Recreation Department, North Shore Health Department, North Shore Fire/Rescue, the Shorewood Police Department and Pinnacle Bike Service. The Shorewood Senior Resource Center will be installing bike bells courtesy of the Shorewood Men’s Club.  We will also have helmet fittings, so don’t forget your bike helmet! The event is free for Shorewood Residents, but please register ahead of time so we know how many people to expect.
 
First Ride: Ages 3 & up. Children will learn bike safety with the proven ‘balancing first’ method.  Last check in time is at 1:00 pm.
 
Bike Rodeo: Grades 2 - 6. This clinic will educate parents and children on bike safety, traffic rules and more!  Last check in time is at 3:00 pm.

Prices vary depending on residency.

Spring Wellness Fair

Glendale Community Bike Rodeo

Saturday May 18th 2019
10:30a.m.- 12:30p.m.
Parkway Elementary School
5910 N. Milwaukee River Pkwy. 
Glendale, WI

This is a FREE event for students 2nd-6th grade to teach basic riding skills, rules of the road & prepare them for riding on the streets safely.  The rodeo includes helmet fitting & bike maintenance checks by professionals from Wheel and Sprocket.
